We strive to be more than a profit center, to operate on a fully sustainable platform that is beyond the products we bring into the market. We believe the community plays a bigger role in our ecosystem and it is our responsibility to play an active role in uplifting the livelihood of our people.

The younger generation is the future of any community and we are proud to take initiatives to bring them onboard by creating opportunities for exposure.

Some of our key strategies in supporting and uplifting the future generations are;

  • Support university research programs by offering internships to university students
  • Joint innovation, research, and development projects with local universities to develop modern healthy food to uplift consumption habits both locally and globally.
  • Sponsoring English for junior students in Kanugala Primary school
  • Sponsoring selected students in higher studies and internships programs

Our community is our lifeline and therefore we focus on some rural community development projects to uplift the livelihood. Some of the current initiatives are ;

  • Fairtrade initiatives to the local farm community around the island
  • Coconut nursery initiative
  • Training and education on agricultural knowledge and know-how

Finally it all drills down to Promoting Equal livelihood and our project of Promoting biodiversity starts from our factory garden.
